I have had a web site in some form or other since the mid-90s, when I started mine by copying (with permission) someone else’s HTML code and pasting in my own information. I was one of the first voice teachers in Central Indiana to have a web site. Though I got most of my students via word of mouth or through the institutions at which I taught, it was still nice to have something to point to online to represent myself, and nice that I came up frequently in searches.
Well, it’s gotten a little more difficult since then! I realized a few weeks back that my site was no longer indexed in Google, decided to switch web hosting, change up my outdated WordPress Theme, etc., and finally ended up with something that is mobile-friendly and laid out more or less the way I want it.
But more importantly, as of today, I am findable again!
