The post office hates me :(

Ok, many months back I posted that according to the city of Frankfurt, Germany, where I was (presumably) born, I do not exist. That is to say that they have no record of my birth, even though the U.S. State Department claims that they should. But still made me question my own existance! Now, the U.S. Postal Service has apparently decided I don't live here any more and do not have a forwarding address. I can only assume that this has something to do with the fact that way back in June, I filled out a *temporary* change of address form with a start date and end date corresponding with the six weeks I would be at Odyssey. After a few weeks with no mail, I called the post office to find out what was going on, and my local post office told me to wait, it should be on the way. By the time July rolled around with no mail, I called my local post office again and told them the mail forwarding was apparently not working, so please cancel it so I don't have to worry that somebody put the dates wrong and my mail would start heading to New Hampshire at some later date. I talked to a "supervisor" who said he had taken care of this. Now, I have gotten all my mail just fine at my home address, even during the time it was actually supposed to be going to New Hampshire. Until recently I got a couple letters with a sticker that said: Unable to forward - no forward order on file - return to postmaster or addressee for review. Now they did at least get to me, so I figured, no major problem, I will save the envelopes and take them to the post office later this week to gripe about it.Then yesterday I get an email from an amazon.com affiliate who had tried to send a book I had ordered and it had been returned to them. And today the only mail with my name on it was three catalogs, all of which had my name crossed out and "current resident" circled.I called the post office and spoke with someone who gave me a confirmation number and said someone will call me back within one business day.So first I wasn't born and now I don't live in my house. I'm real, damnit! I am not a figment of your imagination. Honest. I think...?In other news, Stephan and I had a great time at the Ohio Renaissance Festival yesterday. I will try to post a report when I get a chance.
