Ohio mini-vacation

I'm in a hotel outside of Cincinnati, about to head out to the Ohio Renaissance Fair.Stephan and I go every year and really enjoy it. I felt like dressing up, but most of my costume-type stuff is too hot, so I went with a straight long black skirt and cream colored peasant blouse, both in very lightweight cotton. I've got my belt with a leather pouch slung around my waist and a scarf around my head. I suppose I could be a pirate wench. Arrrr!Last night we had a lovely dinner at a restaurant called The Grand Finale in a quaint little town outside of Cincinnati whose name is escaping me at the moment. I had two crepes - one Coq au Vin and one mushroom. The chicken one had white wine, nutmeg, and almonds and not much else that I could detect. Delicious. For dessert we split a trifle. I convinced myself I had to order it because I love trifle and it is not something you see on a menu very often.I should wrap this up so we can head out. I suppose I should practice my swagger.
