Dinner...NOT

I just ran a few errands to get things like burgundy wine, cognac, and bacon and then spent an hour putting together some Coq au vin in the slow cooker. We were supposed to have a dinner guest tonight, and I have a student from 5:00 - 6:00 so needed to get going early. Stephan just called and the guest has to postpone until tomorrow. So now I need to decide whether to save this and reheat it tomorrow night or what.On a more positive note, I had the morning off and went to the gym and then the zoo. I've started making my way through contact people there to find out how to pitch my book idea to them.
