sartorias always has thought-provoking posts on her lj that get some great discussion going.Here is her post on gender and readingAndHere is my comment on the subject.In other news, I, err, actually put a flash story in the mail today--an esoteric little piece sent to an esoteric little market. It's an odd bird that may not ever be publishable, but I've come to the conclusion that there's really nothing else I can do with it except put it out there and start racking up my rejections like a real writer.I've also done more work on the novelette "For the Love of Trees" today. This is the last week before I start up again with my college teaching and all my free time goes to heck.
