Writing Update

Pirates of Penzance is keeping me pretty busy, but I have managed to squeeze in some writing time. I'm guessing I'm about 1000 words or so into a 3000 word or so story. I haven't transferred some scribbling from my notebook into the Word file yet, hence the fuzziness on word count.I'm still not sure of the final direction the story will take, but I stopped writing to do some outlining and decide on a pov character. In this case, I am writing what I know to an extent, since opera is involved, but the story has at least one fantasy element.In other news, Athena is much the same, and Addie, one of the feral cats we hadn't seen for months, is back and looking good. Her nephews, the outgoing Shasta and bad-tempered Shankar, have been with us all winter. We haven't seen their mother, Maddie, for months.
