Varda update
E. called last night and asked if Stephan and I wanted to come visit Varda, and bring her some of her cat food from home and her blood pressure ear gel. Of course we went, and the poor little kitty is woozy and not quite herself, but she was happy to get a pat and rubbed her face against my hand (even on the swollen side). She is still on an iv with fluids. I got her to eat a little bit of her favorite food from my fingers. I was so glad to get to see her. She's supposed to come home tonight, but they want to do another blood test to check the kidney numbers. I'm crossing my fingers we get to bring her home! She's had teeth out before, and only had one of her four canine (strange word to use for a cat) teeth left. I started calling her "Varda Ercarchiel" which is the best I could approximate to "one-fang" using a couple of Quenya and Sindarin elements and a common feminine name ending. I'm no linguist, so I may not be correct in how I put the name together, but it sounds good to me.Well, now Varda has lost that tooth as well as a couple others, so I've got to figure out how you say "no fang" or "fangless" in Elvish!
