The day's accomplishments

I had a sort-of day off today, but it just means I had private students in the late afternoon and evening and moved my high school teaching that I would have done today till tomorrow. Still, it felt nice to have some free time.I got some good work in on the Mozart, fixed some scheduling issues with my college teaching, got rid of 3 grocery bags full of clothes for Goodwill, cleaned off my messy desk, and made a small step on a path that may lead me to a doctoral program in music as early as fall 2009. I'm tired of being indecisive.I made the sopa di lima referenced in my previous post, with only a few modifications to the original recipe, like baking the tortilla strips instead of deep frying them. It was heavenly and is now my favorite chicken soup.
