Earthquake!

We were awakened at 5:30-something this morning by the windows rattling and the bed shaking. It felt like a train was going right by the house.So I checked online and found that yes, it was an earthquake, with an epicenter in southern Illinois, close to the Indiana border. Fortunately, preliminary reports indicate it didn't do much damage. More on the earthquake here.I've been to New Harmony, Indiana a few times which is a lovely town in that area founded by a communal religious sect in 1814. Not long before that time, a big earthquake hit that area, as it's on the Wabash Valley Fault. Some people speculate that this was a plus to the Harmonists who wanted to move there--a sign of the rapture coming.
