Start of the semester crazies

I'm insanely busy this week due to normal start-of-the-semester stuff, but I'm really excited about some projects I've got going this semester, such as a workshop I'm giving on posture and breathing for singers, incorporating Yoga.On Friday, Stephan and I get to visit our new kittens! We can't take them home until around the start of October, but it will be really nice to finally see the little monsters and see if any of the names we've been tossing around fit them.A few days ago, I actually touched Maddie, the wildest of our four feral cats. She's watched with interest when I pet her son, Shasta, and has been gradually coming closer when I put out the food. She ran away a couple steps and looked up at me, really surprised, but didn't try to kill me. This is a good thing.
