The adventures of my wallet

At some point between 2:30 and 3:30 on Tuesday, when I had a late lunch at Panera Bread, my wallet left my possession and went off to have some adventures of its own. I'm not sure how this happened--all I know is I had my wallet when I paid, and did not have it when I left the restaurant. Thanks to the fraud protection department of my bank, I have some idea what sort of adventures my wallet and its contents had later that day.My credit card, accompanied by a fake Michigan driver's license with my name on it, was used to get a $3800 cash advance at a nearby bank. This happened at 3:39, so someone whipped up a pretty quick fake license. The same credit card was used in a transaction for $800 some odd dollars at a nearby drug store. When it was declined, my debit card was used for the transaction. Later, the same debit card went to an electronics store and was used to attempt to pay for a transaction over $2000. By this time I had canceled the card, so it was declined.I will probably never know the rest of the adventures that my wallet and its contents had without me. I suspect that once the credit and debit card were removed, the wallet and the rest of its contents met its end in a convenient dumpster. That's a shame, as it was a nice wallet and had served me well for many years.I have replaced my driver's license and a new credit card and debit card should be here soon.In other news, the weather is beautiful, so I'm going to finish one story critique and get outside!
