Back from the wilds of West Virginia
I'm back from a lovely trip to West Virginia with assorted family members from North Carolina and Virginia. We stayed at Bluestone State Park, which has a lovely lake created when the New River was dammed to prevent flooding, hiking trails, and very nice family cabins with fully equipped kitchens. We hiked most of the trails, visited, worked puzzles and played games, did collaborative and creative cooking, got rained on frequently, took a pontoon boat out on the lake, swam, took an aerial tramway to a gourmet restaurant in nearby Pipestem State Park (the photo on the top left of the web page shows the tramway), and had an all-around wonderful time.I'm a bit behind in some writing goals, critiquing, and planning for TNEO, but nothing I can't catch up with since my summer work schedule is light.
